The UAE Experience: DUBAI

After an exhilirating 2.5 weeks in Japan, we set our sights on the United Arab Emirates, due to it's ease of access and mainly for a chance to indulge in a new environment, along with some of my relatives; who live in a community in the nearby Emirate of Umm-al Quwain.

Another experience that we knew of beforehand but had never partaken in, was the communal supper known as Iftar, due to the fact that we were unaware we travelled during the holy month of Ramadan.

And then after 4 days in this West Asian metropolis, it was time to depart for London in early April.

The flight was one to remember; as we flew back in Emirates Business Class on a Boeing 777-300ER that was a few months old (or in other words: BRAND NEW.) Unfortunately due to wanting to enjoy the full experience and to respect the privacy of other passengers, I did not take any photos. I apologise profusely for anyone wishing to see my experience.
