Who Am I?

Hello there and welcome to My Train of Thought; my name is George Barrett and this blog will showcase my interests and hobbies surrounding many different things.

An example of a few things that would be discussed on my blog would be: Linguistic profiles, creative photography or any other multimedia projects that I choose to create and just general posts, ranging from Pokemon to holiday snapshots.

My main major in college is an Extended Diploma Level 3 Art & Design BTEC Course, I have also attained a B grade in GCSE English Language.

As a young person with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), particularly Asperger's Syndrome, I place what many neurotypical people would see as an insane amount of pressure on myself regarding academic performance; as a result of this, I have suffered from severe general and social anxiety issues for 4 - 5 years, but I am continuing to challenge myself to face my fears when approached with an anxiety-provoking situation.

 

My main goal with this blog is to bridge the gap between those who are challenged; physically or mentally, and those who are considered 'normal'. I want to show that people of all races, religions and colours are good people.
